Remote Team Building: 5 Virtual Office Games to Play in OfficeMapHq

Who says remote work has to be all business? One of the best ways to build trust is through play. Because OfficeMapHq is a visual, spatial environment, you can play games that are impossible in a traditional video call.
1. Map Scavenger Hunt
Hide specific emojis or objects in different "secret rooms" of your map. Give your team 5 minutes to find all of them. The first one back to the "Main Hall" wins!
2. Avatar "Freeze Dance"
Gather everyone in the "Dance Floor" room. Put on some music using our integrated player. One person acts as the DJ. When the music stops, everyone must stop moving their avatars. Last one to move wins.
3. Virtual Hide and Seek
One person is the seeker. Everyone else has a minute to "hide" their avatar in one of the rooms of the kampus. The seeker then moves from room to room to find everyone.
4. "Guess the Document"
Place a specific link on one of the tables. The team has to gather around and, based on the room's theme, guess what's in the document before they open it.
5. Flash Mob
Set a time, and have everyone move their avatars to the same room at exactly the same time to surprise a colleague or celebrate a project delivery.
Play isn’t a distraction from work; it’s the foundation of a happy, high-performing team.
